In the quiet Roman district of Tormarancia, a private home is reimagined as a refined and intimate retreat where memory becomes part of the architecture. The original wood-beamed ceiling has been carefully preserved, its tactile presence grounding the interiors with quiet strength. At the heart of the living area, a custom-built library designed by the owner’s father stands as a sculptural trace of family history, seamlessly woven into the new design.

Natural woods, woven textures, and fluid, organic forms define a palette that is warm yet measured, contemporary yet timeless. Light moves gently through the space, connecting rooms with soft transitions and an understated rhythm that speaks to a way of living both grounded and free.
